THE Challenge

Debut the Mortlach 1984 #4155, the oldest cask of Mortlach ever offered to some of the world’s most renowned whisky connoisseurs and luxury partners.

THE CONcept

The Twelfth Cask; Revealing the Beast of Dufftown. A curated multi-venue journey, culminating in a choreographed sensory reveal of an exceptional cask expression.

THE EXPERIENCE

  • An intimate audience of 36 VIP global private clients, connectors and luxury partners.
  • Welcome reception at the Royal Villa, followed by transfer to the Garden Room for a guided tasting of the first liquids in the Twelve collection.
  • Long-table dinner in Raffles Ballroom, transformed with precision lighting and dramatic draping.
  • The reveal: a darkened space, vertical light tubes igniting through the air, deep bass cutting through the room, building tension before the cask was finally revealed on a reflective mirror floor, encircled in directional light.
  • Nightcap in the Royal Villa, with ambient lighting shifting to Mortlach blue tones.
  • Designed and delivered in partnership with Proud Robinson (London).
