Last week our amazing Campaign Asia ‘innovator of the year‘ (yes, that’s a humble brag for our amazing Chief Memory Maker) Kristy Castleton completed the Procter & Gamble WEConnect International entrepreneur development program.
Launching for the first time in Singapore last year and part of P&G’s long-term commitment to diversity and inclusion, the FMCG giant has partnered with WEConnect International for the program to identify, educate, register and certify majority women-owned businesses and connect them to qualified buyers and multi-national companies like P&G across the globe.
1 of 23 graduates selected across Singapore, Castleton took part in a completely virtual course due to the pandemic. Led by P&G experts and external partners, including Enterprise Singapore, the 23 women entrepreneurs from the 2020 cohort were trained on how to further develop their capabilities and help them grow their businesses. The 10-module curriculum covered a wide breadth of business development topics such as growth strategies, business operations, company branding, sales, communications and leadership skills, human resources and supplier relationship management.
Huge congratulations to Kristy and the rest of the 2020 cohort.
