The Future of Sports Engagement

I always felt it was going to be the sports industry that would be the first to bring Virtual Reality to the consumer: a match made in heaven.

Great to see Fox Sports doubling down on this strategy with NextVR. Next step: take it out of the living rooms and bring Virtual Reality into live events.

There is so much opportunity for fan engagement before, during and after the games with this tech. Imagine yourself helping one of your favourite sports personalities to warm up for a game, or taking part in a challenge to out hit or pass the top player during half time.

This is something that Rebel & Soul is discussing now for a sporting event in Asia so stay tuned for that. This technology can do so much more to engage visitors and give them an immersive experience they’ll talk about for years to come and not just in sports, but any event. Excited to be one of the companies pioneering this in Asia: the best is yet to come!
