CNN – Great Big Story

Idea

We tend to wonder when we’re presented with unexpected, sensory and evocative experiences that encourage us to dream… So, to excite and engage the B2B audience and potential partners at CNN’s Great Big Story Asia launch, we showcased the true essence of Great Big Story by making guests feel fully immersed, showcasing and bringing select Great Big Stories to life.

Approach

We designed a space reflective of the 3 Great Big Stories which were played to guests on the evening through state of the art AV. We curated live interactions for each of these stories, so guests experienced them in person as well as on screen. Characters from the first story Day of The Dead, welcomed guests into the venue which was dressed in a bright and colourful theme that ran consistently through the three stories. Guests participated in an interactive colourless taste activity reflective of the GBS on clearless coke which was played to guests later in the evening. Guests also had an opportunity to meet personalities from the Dragon’s Beard story, with a live demonstration of Dragon’s Beard being made from none other than the man himself. We bought each of the stories showcased to life, through live interactions and state of the art AV, and curated a bespoke and colourful 3 course menu.

    • Over 90% of guests commented on the incredible  transformation of the venue
    • 100% engagement in the colourless taste activity
    • Referral business enquiries from the venue for the state of the art AV set-up we provided
